Native American Artwork

Allan & Cher spent over 30 years on the Wind River Indian Reservation teaching public school in Riverton Wyoming. Cher taught middle school English and Allan taught a variety of subjects at the high school. During their time in Riverton they made many close Arapaho friends who honored them with their wonderful art work. From intricate beadwork to pictures painted on canvas and buffalo hide their work has special meaning for Cher and Allan. We’re positive you too will appreciate this Native American showcase located in the foyer as you enter the barn.

Beautiful one-of-kind pieces of art make heirloom gifts, and are available for purchase in our gift shop. Bracelets, necklaces, rosaries, mocassins, zipper pulls and key chains created in the traditional colors and designs of the Arapaho people. Monies from the purchase of these items go to St. Stephens Mission on the Wind River Reservation. St. Stephens provides education and cultural experiences to the children of the reservation.
