Fur Trapper Room

The Fur Trapper Room is one-of-a-kind!

A peaceful night’s rest awaits you in the Fur Trapper room.  Ornately carved Eastlake furniture, Western art by Lee Teeter, Stephen Lyman, and Allan Maybee help depict the heritage of the fur trapper, an important era in the development of the West.

A brass powder horn, ball holder, and tobacco pouch seem like natural things to find in the Fur Trapper Room.

The first recorded repair of this fiddle was in 1879, whereabouts unknown.  Second repair was in 1919 in Overton, Nebraska.  Certainly if this fiddle could play its past, it would sing ballads to make us laugh and cry.
