Time sure flies when you are having fun, and we have been having fun at Barn Anew Bed and Breakfast. Here it is the end of June and we haven’t stopped to catch a breath yet. With weddings, showers, family reunions, blue grass jam sessions, wine and cheese meet and greets in the courtyard, guests from all over the world, and even a film crew here doing some shooting of Western Nebraska, the summer is off to a roaring start. As I am writing this blog there are guests from Delaware, Iowa, Oregon, and Texas sitting on the balcony watching a fiery orange sun set over Scotts Bluff National Monument. The June weather is very spring-like with temperatures in the low 80s, and the late afternoon clouds gather to create spectacular light shows with thunder and rain. This has been one of the greenest springs in recent years, and the sea of prairie grass is holding onto its deep green hues longer that usual.
